C-Pen Connect & MAC
Two different solutions are available for using C-Pen Connect together with MAC OSX – C-Pen Core and Connect Desktop app. Both apps features our C-Pen Keyboard function, allowing text to be scanned into any app on your computer. Connect Desktop app does in addition also support (assistive) text reading and supports saving text to files. Which is the better one depends on your preferred usage scenario.
This is our traditional digital highlighter/productivity solution, and it is basically a device driver that links the pen scanner to the computer, the operating system and your favorite apps. Once C-Pen Core is installed and linked to Connect pen scanner, you simply open an application of your choice and start scanning. C-Pen Core is a great option if you like to have a non-intrusive and transparent integration between the pen and your computer.

Connect Desktop app
Aside from C-Pen Keyboard functionality, the Connect Desktop app also features Text Reader and Scan to File functions. Text can be set to be read out automatically or only when prompted to. It is possible to listen to full/multiple sentences and paragraphs or a single word. One time or repeatedly, as required. Scanned text can also be saved to text files and retrieved at a later point in time and re-listened to. A nice feature to support learning.
