C-Pen Core (Windows)

Windows drivers, features and settings for TS1 Digital Highlighter.

C-Pen Core is the TS1 companion software for Windows. It enables TS1 to scan text and numbers to any application on your computer and makes TS1 compatible with apps like MS Word, Excel, Google Doc, etc.

Comes with an embedded OCR engine supporting 100+ languages.
Supports reading scanned text out aloud.
Text replace filter, to e.g. convert commas to period marks in numbers.
NOTE: speech engine and voices are NOT included in C-Pen Core.

Speech

C-Pen Core is able read scanned text out aloud by utilizing Windows’ native text-to-speech or speech (voices) installed with third party software.

Voices are required to be accessible by desktop apps.

Text replace function

Supports replacement of scanned characters, symbols or strings.

Define [scanned characters/symbols] and [replace by characters/symbols].

Example:

When scanning numbers to an Excel sheet and all commas [,] must be changed to a dot/period mark [.].
When scanning ID codes to a business system and a particular code shall be replaced with a new one.

Compatibility

Scans text and numbers to: MS Office apps, Google Docs, Business system, etc.

Connectivity

TS1 text scanner requires USB 2.
