How to reload C-Pen USB drivers (Windows)

  1. Make sure the C-Pen USb cable is connected to your PC.
  2. Open the Device Manager. Assuming you have Win 7 or newer just press the Windows start button and start typing Device Manager in the search box and the DM icon will show up.
  3. Search Device Manager for en entry named Input Pen (see attached screenshot) and subentry C-Pen xx. If you can't find it then search for an Unknown USB device entry.
  4. Right click on the C-Pen xx entry (or the Unknown if applicable) and select Uninstall.
  5. Disconnect the C-Pen xx USB and reconnect it again. This reloads the drivers.

If no error messages then you should be good to go.


NOTE:
  • Should the drivers not reload automatically in 5. then they can be updated manually (select Update driver instead of Uninstall in 4.).
  • If C-Pen Core is installed then the drivers are located in C:\Program Files (x86)\C Technologies\C-Pen Core\UsbDriver.
